Pentax Optio M40 Launched in India

India Digital Life Style Distributors Pvt. Ltd (IDLDPL) has launched the Pentax Optio M40 compact digicam in the Indian market recently. According to the company, the biggest feature of Pentax Optio M40 is that it is an 8.0 mega pixel point and shoot camera. Besides, it has a 3X optical zoom lens and 2.5 inch LCD screen. The Pentax Optio M40 measures 18mm in depth and is encased in an aluminum cover and features digital shake reduction and face recognition technologies (AF and AE). It also comes with 16 shooting modes including the new 'natural skin tone', 'pet' and 'food' modes. The lens has an equivalent focal length of 36 to 108mm. Besides, The Pentax Optio M40 has 21.9 megabytes of internal memory and comes with a special carry-case.

Pentax Optio M40 further is compatible with PictBridge, DPOF functions; Exif Print, PRINT Image Matching III and Auto Picture mode automatically determines the best settings for the shooting conditions.

The camera is priced at Rs. 15490.
