Updates for the NOD32 Issue:

Before we publish the new version, we run the programs in major anti-virus software for testing and confirm there's no problem.
However there are some error report from NOD32 Anti Virus. This is due to wrong recognition.
We have now updated the install package already and tested it under NOD32 without any warning. (You may notice that the previous GGClient.exe is only 1.5M but now the exe is 3.4M)
We have already emailed NOD company for this issue and hopefully we can get some statement from NOD32.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. For those users who have problem with the official version, please go to download the updated installation package again. Thank you.

If GG client 2.0 doesn’t get installed for you, uninstall the previous version before you install it. Now please excuse me while I catch up on some DotA action. To visit the official site, click here.http://www.gg-game.com/

AMD Releases X2 6400+

AMD who of late seems to have lost its way in the consumer processor market, has quietly gone and released a new processor in its 90nm Windsor series. The new X2 6400+ runs at 3.2 GHz and comes with 1 MB L2 cache for each core.

However this processor has a few problems already.

Firstly since it's based on the 90nm process, it does not utilize the standard 89 watt TDP of the latest range of Windsor processors. Its TDP is a rather high 125 which is nearly 3 times higher than AMD’s own X2 BE- series. Another drawback is that this processor will be only available to channel partners and is priced at $239, per unit, in 1,000 unit quantities.

NVIDIA specifies a maximum 512MB of video memory on GeForce 8700M GT graphics cards. Apart from the clock speeds, the GeForce 8700M GT is identical to the previously released GeForce 8600M-series.

The GeForce 8700M GT features NVIDIA’s second-generation PureVideo HD video processor that off loads the CPU while decoding high-definition AVC/H.264 video formats.
