If you’ve been following the upcoming MMORPG Age of Conan, you’ve probably seen the screenshots and wondered if it would play on your rig. It turns out that if you can play Oblivion on your PC, it should have no trouble in handling Age of Conan; at least that’s what this post on the official forum says. The post’s translated and quoted from French gaming website JeuxOnline’s Age of Conan fansite, and here’s a Q&A from there –
"We could read that a computer which can run Oblivion would be enough to run AoC, but up to what point? Will a computer running Oblivion in "max" details be able to run AoC with the same level of details? Can we have more details on this information?
This is constantly changing as we continue to add to the game and optimize the client. Age of Conan is quite beautiful even not on max settings and a PC running Oblivion at "max" should have a great game experience with Conan."
It’s good to know that the game’s scalable enough to run on most of the mid-ranged rigs these days; after all, an MMORPG that requires a monster PC to run doesn’t make any sense right?
