Zenith Launches 3 Low Budget Laptops

Zenith Computers has launched three ultra portable laptops, with a price strategy that the company claims will revolutionize the Indian laptop market.

At a price range starting from Rs. 24,990 the laptops offer consumers an advanced configuration with on-site warranty service rather than the usual carry-in warranty.

"We are not interested in making 'the 10k debacle in the laptop segment like other brands. Our new range will provide Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor with Microsoft Vista Starter Edition at an incomparable rate of Rs. 24,990", said Raj Saraf, chairman and managing director, Zenith Computers.

"Zenith Computers with its aggressive pricing strategy made computing affordable in India, and has forced the MNC players to follow suit," said Saraf. "The new range of laptops will help us to reach to the performance laptop buyer for whom price was earlier a constraint. With our new pricing strategy, we have made laptops available at almost desktop rates thus realizing a dream for many," he added.

The three new additions, Zenith Director, Zenith Admiral and Zenith Presidio will be available at all 500 Zenith PC World showrooms and outlets across the country.

Zenith laptops will also be sold at a price of less than US $500 in international markets such as the Middle East, South Africa and Eastern Europe, in the Zenith brand name.
