Painkiller Overdose Demo Out Now

While a lot of shooters tend to concentrate on realism, Painkiller was a simple but ridiculously enjoyable shoot-everything-that-moves effort in the vein of Doom and the more recent Serious Sam.

While the game’s official expansion, Battle Out of Hell was pretty meh, Painkiller is all set to get yet another sequel of sorts in the form of Painkiller Overdose.

Painkiller Overdose started off as a fan-made mod, but it soon caught the interest of publisher Dreamcatcher, who decided to support it financially. This single and multiplayer demo lets you play as the new lead character, Belial, as he blasts through hordes of twisted oddities in true Painkiller style.
