Fujitsu Offers Palmsecure Biometric Mouse

Keeping in mind the increasing use of online banking and other financial transactions on a PC, Fujitsu has released its Palmsecure mouse, which packs in a palm vein biometric authentication sensor.

This mouse comes with a login-based authentication system, which eliminates the need of using IDS and passwords. Logging into the PC is now as simple as just holding your palm over the mouse. Once the data of your palm vein pattern is confirmed, it will allow you to proceed further.

This kind of authentication can be easily used for numerous applications, such as IT return programs and other financial based products.

The Palmsecure mouse is also available without the sensor, and ships in black, white and gray. Prices are not available as of now.
