Nokia Ties Up With Om Shanti Om

Nokia has tied up with Bollywood's multi-starrer Om Shanti Om (OSO) wherein Nokia users can watch the movie's clips, behind the scenes videos, ringtones and wallpapers on their mobile phones. The cell phone giant has created a special 'OSO Crazy mobisode', animated characters of 'OM' (played by Shah Rukh Khan) that can be downloaded on all Nokia GPRS enabled handsets by dialling 55555 or from www.nokia.co.in/oso, a website created for the Nokia and OSO association.

Nokia is also hosting a "Meet and Greet" contest for the leading star of the movie. Those purchasing a Nokia 5310, Nokia 3110 Classic, 3500 Classic, 5200, 5300, 5700, 6233, 6233 M or 6300 will get a chance to answer a question on Nokia and the film. Based on a lucky draw, 40 couples across India will get the opportunity to meet Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai, in early December, 2007. All expenses including travel and stay for this contest will be borne by Nokia. Consumers can log on to www.nokia.co.in/oso and submit their entries.

Bollywood is the most popular downloadable mobile content besides sports and fashion in India.
