WD Passport Portable Drives are popular for their plug-and-play capability and ultra-portable design. At less than five ounces, this drive fits easily in a pocket or backpack and is the perfect solution to back up data such as digital pictures, HD video and music.
WD Sync software allows users to take desktop content with them by simplifying the synchronization of personal files, including Microsoft Outlook data on a PC. The data is protected with 128-bit encryption.
Users can quickly locate files with Google Desktop Search, manage photos with Picasa photo organizer, and simplify Web searches with the Google Toolbar.
The drives are available at WD's online store and expected next month at Best Buy stores. A product specification sheet and photos are available on the company's website.
