Rugged Entry Level Mobile From Samsung

Rumor has it that Samsung is planning to launch a new entry-level mobile phone, but it won't be your run-of-the-mill simple handset. This one, aptly dubbed the Samsung Solid, is a rugged, outdoorsy phone.

It’s designed for rough use (presumably) with a protective case around the body and rubber keys. It’s possible that the phone should be able to withstand a drop of about 2-3 feet, but till we test it we can’t confirm or deny it!

The specs may not be accurate as of now, but it’s claimed the Solid will have a VGA camera and Bluetooth. The price will to be around £70 (Rs 5670) and it's expected to be out this December. Stay tuned.
