Transcend Launches Digital Photo Frame

Transcend, a company that's noted for manufacturing Flash memory products such as portable drives and memory cards, has just added a digital photo frame to their repertoire.

The T.photo 710 digital photo frame has an inbuilt memory of 1GB. It has a 7 inch TFT flat panel display with a resolution of 480 x 234 pixels.

The T.photo comes equipped to read various memory cards - SD cards (SDHC/SD), MMC cards, MS cards, and CF cards. It also supports music playback (MP3) and digital camera formats (JPG, BMP, motion JPG) that can be viewed as a slideshow.

The frame has an image rotation feature for landscape and portrait shots. It can be hooked up to a PC via USB for image and music file transfer. It even has a calendar and digital clock, and comes with a fully functional remote control.

The T.photo 710 will retail for a suggested Rs. 4,787 (US$119) pretax, according to the company.
