IXOS Releases Affordable HDMI 1.3 Cable Range

Cables are the unsung components that enhance the quality and functioning of an HT. IXOS, who are considered the gurus in cable construction, are releasing the IXOS Studio XHT288 range in the UK next month.

The range starts from £45 for a 1m run, and tops out at £80 for a 5.0m cable. All the cables meet the latest V1.3 1080p HDMI specification, and have been certified by the HDMI LLC.

The key construction features of the XHT288 cables are:
Proprietary nitrogen gas-injected polyethylene dielectric
Massive insulation to significantly reduce dielectric constant
Triple shielding for greater protection against EM and RF interference
IXOS TRU-HD certified High Definition 1080p digital video transmission
Hard gold-plated connectors and patented cable technology that, according to IXOS, provide "the finest signal transfer".
For the Indian market an official release is unlikely. As the market is too niche, no official dealers are available. Of course, you can try the street, approach Home Theater consultants, or order online.
